I REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY hope you are right. However, at this point I do not believe this Owner or CEO will do anything. I feel like they are setting back and watching the whole horrible show unfold.

I do not expect ANY surprise moves, statements, or changes. The only thing more pitiful than the play of this team; is the leadership of this team.

 

I know this sounds like pie in the sky, but let's hope Underwood is looking to hire Peyton Manning as soon as he retires at season's end. The reason I think there is a remote possibility is because the ownership KNOWS how much Bud wanted Peyton...not only to be the QB, but he basically offered him an executive level job when he retired. Could that desire to bring him into the organization, in that same capacity be revisited?

I think they need something like that (media buzz and leadership). But, I also think Peyton would insist on hiring his own HC and GM. I'd like to see the ownership go ahead and cut ties with Whisenhunt and make Horton the interim HC. He could be the next Coordinator who does well as a HC. They are all kind of a 2-3yr crapshoot, anyway. Why not take an 8 game crapshoot rather than another 3yr? Mularkey was like Wiz...a crappy HC, but he was a good OC. So, let him take over the offense and obviously Lebeau as the DC.

Can't be any worse than it is now.

 

No...she has people that make a report to her as part of the weekly status reports...score probably appears below the line for concession sales and such.
