    Mettenberger could pay off big if Jake goes down. Or it could be a wasted pick if jake steps up and doesn't go down. Mett would then be sitting on the bench for years.

    I select Q.Patton. Young guy in sf overlooked because of an injury but privately works out with kaepernick and is said to have done well in the OTAs.

    I thought about taking him. But I like Logan Thomas' situation more being behind only Carson Palmer. Doesn't mean Thomas will ever amount to anything, but right now I'm just playing the odds.
