Give Props To A Legend!

    Just want to give shout outs to a legendary director who finally got JUSTICE tonight! Martin Scorsese won Best Director and Best Motion Picture (Both for The Departed; amazing flick), awards he should have won for arguablely THREE other movies! Gives regards to one of the best to ever do it, a true student to the filmmaking game.

    Haven't paid close enough attention to the other films that beat his others, but he was certainly worthy, and made a great movie this year. Good for him, he deserves it.

    He said this movie (the departed) was his first with an actual plot. That in itself says it's the first movie he should've won with.

    That was somewhat a joke, although it might be his most plot-centered movie. Raging Bull, Taxi Driver, and argueably Goodfellas should ALL have won Best Picture (the fact that Goodfellas lost to Dances With Wolves is sickening IMO). So no, I'd say you're wrong about that...
