. . The preceding is the invisible "ghost of a chance" of any team other than an SEC team winning the national title.

Before I post anything I just want you guys to know that everything I'm about to say is real and I'm not making a single thing up for the sake of a good story.

This happens to me A LOT by the way. It's not just a one time thing. I will go to bed at night, everything will be normal and quiet. I will be having a normal dream, sleeping comfortably and then out of no where my eyes will open and I will be awake and aware of things around me. BUT... I can't move. I can't move a single part of my body other than my eyes. Now during this time of not being able to move WEIRD THINGS happen. Completely weird things such as:

    - Just the other night I woke up and my head was pointed towards my wall to the left of the bed and I saw a big blood stain basically shrink more and more until nothing was there and I was able to move again.

    - About a week ago I woke up not being able to move again and I heard a low mumbling noise and walking which seemed to get further and further away until it was a full on sprint. Like something was running away from me down the hall.

    - This one is the most re-occurring of them all. I will wake up ABLE to move and there will be something right infront of my face. Examples are:

    1. A huge unrealistic spider either right in my face or on my bed.
    2. A floating hand that looks like it's about to grab my face.
    3. Rapidly spinning lights and they are ALWAYS red and blue. Literally like a cop car is in my room.
    4. This one is the absolute most terrifying one for me. It's only happened twice but both times I couldn't even sleep and had to check my entire house. I woke to some black silhouette thing standing over me and running full speed as soon as my eyes made contact with it.

I have searched around on Google for answers as to what it may be and I have found something called "Sleep Paralysis". It does match up to some of my occurrences but NOT the ones where I wake up able to move around. I literally wake up like I haven't even been to sleep and I can jump right up and be aware like I drank a gallon of coffee.

The silhouette or "shadow man" one is completely terrifying because unlike the other times it didn't just DISAPPEAR like it was some illusion, it literally RAN AWAY from me and I chased it.

Maybe it's the sleep paralysis or maybe it isn't. All I know is this stuff happens to me constantly. Mostly waking up to seeing an unrealistic large bug or animal and lights. But other creepy things happen like the blood on the wall and the mumbling/running noises.

I have also heard some old jukebox music upon waking up that stopped as soon as I started to move.

If anybody has had things like this happen to them let me know. It's very terrifying to me sometimes and it makes me feel like I'm crazy when I tell people.

    Called "Night Terrors"

One of my friends who got out of the Marines told me about similar things. He would see the room as it is, and be awake (kind of) but it's a kind of waking dream and it's horrifying because it's "real" He said he saw a small demon on his couch cursing at him. And this is not a strange guy at all. He is all business and he would not make this stuff up.

It's a chemical problem in your brain. There is a chemical that paralyzes you in your sleep so you don't act out your dreams, and something's misfiring in there to not make that chemical shut off. But you aren't crazy. It's pretty common. Seemingly more-so in people who have had traumatic experiences.

One of my good friends also has told me about his sleep paralysis. And it doesn't even matter if you understand what's happening at the time, it still freaks you out.

But anyway, it's called night terrors. You're not crazy. That is incredibly interesting.

In the olden days they would have told you a demon was tormenting you, and probably took you to an exorcist, but in modern times, there are scientific reasons for it. Your brain is staying in a sleep state while awake for a brief period of time. If you go talk to a sleep specialist, I guarantee you will find out that your problem is not all that rare at all.

And to Tennessy, IT'S NOT A TUMAH!

I've had this happen to me a few times, and I don't credit ghosts for it. IDK why it happens, but I just fall back to sleep.

    Just because you..
-never experienced something along the lines (or have and were so scared, or shocked you forced yourself to not believe it).
-had an upbringing that led you to believe that no such thing is remotely possible and / or anyone who has claimed to have an experience is either delusional or straight up out of their mind

Does not mean that it hasn't, doesn't, won't or isn't happening.

Once upon a time.... people were considered lunatics for thinking you could sail beyond the ocean's horizon without falling off of the planet. (this list could go one for a longg time)

    That being said..

I've never had an encounter with a ghost or what not, but like many on this forum, I know several people, that I think highly of, who have.

While on the topic of eerie occurrences...

I have lived out many of the dreams from my youth.

Obviously not the dreams where I was 10 feet tall playing chess with a ghost named Amaxas, but I have very vivid dreams and to this day I still write them down so I can remember as much as possible.

Does Santa count as a ghost?

Ive seen him at shopping malls- I SWEAR IT. I don't care if you believe me or not. I see him. All the time... and a lot of ghost kids line up right in the middle of the place just waiting to sit on his lap.

    It freaks me out, man.

I have many people I think highly of that have a "personal relationship" with God.

    ...

So what would be so shocking if they told me they see other ghosts? Not much. Some people are just a bit batty or have mental issues. Doesn't mean they're not respectable individuals.

I guess, who's to say they don't?... But still. If we're being realists. You get what I mean.
