This entire weekend plus beginning of the week has been horrifying.

First my dad and myself finally decide it's time for new furniture. We take out our old sectional couch that's so beat up and broken and pick out something new.. All seems good at that point. Delivery people were scheduled for Sunday.

We ended up getting a coach/love seat combo and we're going to give the love seat to my mom.

The movers come.. We tell them to load the love seat onto my moms friends truck.. And to bring up the couch into our house.

Before any of this occurs they have us sign a paper stating that if they damage the couch or anything else they aren't liable for it. So we're like alright lets get this signed and get it up here.

Out steps the smallest most angry looking human being I have ever seen in my life from the truck.. Biggest dick of all time that I have ever met. Him and his buddy who looks like Nate Washington unload the couch and start trying to fit it through the door. They get it in about half way and the little guy is like.

"OH SON OF A B**** THIS ISN'T GOING TO WORK, MIKE TAKE IT OUT"

My dad is like, "You have to bring it in so the arm of the couch is facing the open part of the hallway"

The guy pretty much explodes and says. "LEAVE YOUR COMMENTS TO YOURSELF I CAN CLEARLY SEE WE ARE GOING TO DAMAGE THE COUCH IF WE CONTINUE TO TRY THIS".

I'm standing there thinking to myself that they aren't trying very hard.. So I just say "Try it the other way. We're paying you 50 dollars to get it in the house if you damage the wall or the couch a little bit it's fine."

They take it out and try to maneuver it the other way and bust the down stairs light and it shatters all over the couch. At that point I thought there was going to be a fight or something because the little guy set his end down and put his hands on his head and got in the truck. He came out with some papers and pretty much told us they were leaving and that it's our problem.

My dad and myself got it up about halfway on our own and it's so jammed up against the wall that if we tried to move it anymore it's probably going to leave a hole the size of Eugene Amano's stupidity in the wall.

We called the place we got it from and said the movers were insanely rude and unprofessional and that we pretty much have this gigantic thing sitting in our hallway on the stairs.

I guess we should of just gotten another sectional so it would of been easier to move it up the damn stairs but I know this thing can fit up here. It's just the fact that they got it so jammed up on the wall that we're scared to put a hole through the wall. That's an extra like 100 dollars to get fixed. Plus the light.

Just a nightmare at this point.

That's not even the half of it either. The love seat is too wide to fit into my moms apartment. It won't go through the door.

    I hate my life.

I'm in the process of getting a couch myself and we're afraid it's too big to fit in the door as well.. why the fk do they make things so much bigger than doorways?

The couch has to be big enough to seat the average American's fat a$s.

When I was typing it, that thought came to mind. They should widen the doors =/

I'm talking about front/back entrance doors.. can't get it to the French doors you may have if you can't get it in the f'ing house :hmm:

And, maybe in Hawaii they have French doors.. I've not come across too many in my lifetime.
