    What is a "book"? I can't read.

If I have to pick one, I'd pick games.

    The backlight doesn't affect you?

I much prefer the Kindle over the iPad for reading. E-Ink is a god-send.

I prefer real books. No batteries to die out no warranties no outdated models no software updates and if lost easier to replace. I will always do physical media and don't do downloadable stuff. I want to own it forever. Not as long as service lasts.

The good thing about digital is that if it is corrupted you can re-download it. With a disk it's too bad.

But I prefer a kindle over a physical book simply because I can take many books with me, it's lighter and still easy to read.

I love reading but i would have to go with games. They have alot more variety, I can play fast paced shooters like CoD or play a quick game of madden or nhl. Alot of rpg's have really good stories also and some of my favorite games are because of the story, not so much the gameplay.

20 (24 seems to be a popular age around here)

Well, I'm 39 and a reader. Mostly fiction. WEB Griffin, Clancy, Grisham, DeMille etc. Most are just as good as watching a movie, justs takes more time. Just never been able to get into games.

Not at all- in fact I like because I can control the intensity and the shade/tone/style of the print. Plus I read in bed while my wife watches TV/dozes off. Nice not to rely on ambient light in any fashion. As a bonus, when I'm tired of reading, I can immediately kick-on HBOGO.com and watch an episode or two of Boardwalk empire or Game of Thrones (or any other HBO show/series whenever I want included in the cost of my DirecTV).

My daughter has a Kindle- it's great also. Just more convenient for me because I iCloud my alot of my media.
