Fowler goes with Eagles

Kevin Curtis overrated IMO. He wants to be a starter? yeah right buddy, good luck with that. Just because you play next to Holt & Bruce and rack up some good yardage doesn't mean you deserve a fat contract & starting job.

Anybody notice how everybody was comparing Curtis & Bennett before FA started? Bennett picked up a fat contract the day after & Curtis is still trying to find a home and fired his agent. What a bum

 

Yep, I'm standing next to my computer and applauding (standing ovation)...... We made an offer to Fowler (who the heck?)...

And that is supposed to be a positive sign, that we made an offer to a guy nobody on earth knows anyting about (about the same as Nickey signing with another team) and we still didn't get the guy.

Fowler would have been a great addition to our team. He was a undrafted F.A out of Duke that was signed by Dallas and played special teams, with some time at MLB. He was a sleeper guy that would explode into the starting line-up like a Briggs or Scott. I was looking forward to signing him... he had potential

 

No, he said the Titans offer was similar to Philly's, he just felt it was a better situation in Philly. They have an old veteran MLB in Trotter. We have a young guy he'd have to compete with in Tulloch.
