There is no way that a positions coach is better than HC at UT. It's less money and less prestige to be a positions coach. I give you that the UT job is not currently what it once was and will take some rebuilding but it will be done.

You are suggesting that Butch Jones or Charlie Strong would leave UT for a coordinator position in the NFL which means you've lost it.

If I were Butch Jones I'd take any pro job available. Charlie Strong actually has a future as a head coach

But hey, maybe in three years Gruden will finally be ready?

Apparently enough to be a WR coach for the Cowboys.

Miss St isn't on the rise, they hit their peak with Mullen. Vandy is getting better but they have to beat a top tier team eventually to be taken seriously. Ole Miss has a good coach in Freeze and possibly the top recruiting class. That will be interesting to watch.
