No here's the thing... Battle is a solid #3 RB and way better than Parmele, which is all we were saying.

Hopefully McCarthy improves with more reps. Didn't make an immediate impact last weekend.

Arguing about whether the third string guy is good or not is stupid. Ideally he never sees the field, regardless of who it is.

It's like arguing whether Jeff Tuel or Thad Lewis should get playing time. You're ****ed either way.

Why is Jackie Battle even playing special teams? He's a solid blocker on the move so I get why he'd be a special teamer when everyone's healthy, but he's the short yardage back til Greene is back, he should be used sparingly til our other RB is back.

you would think that but no we use reynaud who never took a snap on offense now to run 3rd and short. Big play for us turned in to a big fail.

Where was he listed to have an "injury"? He was only listen on the injury report with a sore neck. No nerve damage, no tissue or muscle damage, so it must not have been that severe. I'm all for player safety, but if your team needs you for one crucial play, unless you can't walk, you better be out there. This is football.

Why not line up our "swiss army knife" out there for the 3rd and 1? I would like to see us utilize Delaney Walker in more ways and he lined up at RB with the 49ers last year when they had injuries at the position.

Anyone would have been better than freaking Reynaud. I'd rather have had Bud Adams back there [IMG]
