Everyone points to that one game because the Steelers are the team America nutted on in the latter portions of the season and into the playoffs. They're the world champions, and we dominated them... without our two best defensive lineman.

'07 is the best example of our team's suffering without Fat Al... We were 0-3 or 0-4 without him?... of course, that would be Vince's fault.

And how many points did they score from all that yardage, again?
Yards mean precisely dick when you don't have the points on the scoreboard to back it up.

Again, I have to agree with this.

We put up 391 yards on the Ravens - the most anyone put up on them in over two years - and only scored 10 points.

    Turnovers, turnovers, turnovers

    Steelers 14 Titans 31
    Steelers: 4 turnovers
    Titans: 0 turnovers

    Ravens 13 Titans 10
    Titans: 3 turnovers
    Ravens: 0 turnovers

do you really think we're going to be plus 4 when it comes to turnovers every week?

ben fumbles inside the three. ben throws two INTs UNPRESSURED. william hayes forces a fumble on his only sack of the season.

you know what the sad part about that game for steelers? it wasn't even the worst game their o-line played all year. ben was sacked EIGHT TIMES against the browns and they had two other five sack games against the cowboys and giants.

    their line just sucks.

for the record, i don't think haynesworth was worth the 100 mil. i'm just not drinking the kool aid when it comes to jovan haye, jason jones or sen'derrick marks.

we're reyling on three guys who have a combined 11 sacks in the nfl, none of which are very big and stephen tulloch is a guy you need to keep clean so he can flow to the ball without a lot of trash.

do we have better depth? maybe. are we more talented? probably not.

so they go elsewhere and forget everything that washburn taught them on arrival.................

.... or possibly, they miss haynesworth's presence.

i vote that they catch severe memory loss upon signing big contracts.

No, we have a D line coach by the name of Jim Washburn. That's all the freakin Kool aid you need.

we've also drafted guys like rien long, bo schobel, antwan odom, travis laboy, jared clauss, jesse mahelona and antonio johnson with very little production.

he's one of the best there is in the league, but he's not a miracle worker.

Antwan Odom and Travis LaBoy had pretty quality production with us... elsewhere, that's a different story.
