Fitzpatrick why

Tyrod taylor posted a ball velocity at combine of 50. Fitzpatrick was 48 at his pro day. Mariota was 56 at his combine and 59 at his proday with a chipped ball. The arm is fine. just has to develop trust. lets face it, he hasn't had a lot of trustworthy deep threats since wright went out last yr. hoping sharp can fit that bill.

Yeah, to act like this is all because of Fitz is ridiculous... if it had nothing to do with his WRs, then he wouldnt have been cut by the Bills, Texans, Titans

Marshall is an elite WR. That will make a QB job waaaaay easier.

 

What everyone else has already said...two pro bowl WRs, legit RB in Forte, solid OL, and a competent OC do wonders for a QB.

Just re watched Marcus throwing at combine, his arm strength is fine. I agree he just needs to let a couple rip. Our line and receivers combined with his lack of trust have equated to zero deep passing game

 

The QB still has to make accurate passes downfield. MM can't even get it near our WRs to make a play. Andre Johnson was streaking 1 on 1 with a 6 ft CB but wasn't even given a chance. Tajae and Rishard run two corner routes and the ball is thrown way over their head out of bounds, and once again were not given a chance. But I guess that's the WRs fault?

 

His arm strength when he has all day to throw is fine. His accuracy suffers in game and always has

 

yeah god forbid MM hits andre in the hands when he's headed into the endzone... that would have been great. oh wait.

 

Should have caught that pass. But that doesn't mean we should be blind to his accuracy issue
