Just because it has no significance to you doesn't neccessarily mean it's insignificant...

    Just sayin'. :))

I see it more as self-deprecating humor but understand how many see it as being in poor taste. The wound is still raw.

Personally, I'm more offended with yesterday's Fisher Press Conference.

If he wore a Peyton jersey gameday sure. It's a big deal.
It's a charity event and you guys have been moaning how we suck, when Fisher basically admits it, you act like he has defaced your car or something.

I'm sure his intentions were good, but he completely messed that one up. If you want to feel like a winner, wear a Titans jersey with Dungy's name on it.

Indy is scum and for our COACH to wear Seyton's jersey offends me as a fan.

    Says the official Staff apologist.

Christ, these guys could wear kittens as sock puppets on their jock and you'd never ask questions.

Its off field. I don't care if Fisher has a Nazi sexual fetish. Produce on the field.

Oh, and find the last time I apologised for any of them.

The bottom line is at 0-6, especially coming off a 59-0 beatdown, people don't want to see Jeff wearing a :grrr::grrr::grrr::grrr: Colts jersey and saying "I just wanted to feel like a winner" i.e. "we suck, Colts rule". With so many people already calling for his head, the last thing he needed to do was make a joke about his pathetic excuse for a team.

Seriously though, how many other coaches out there could you see having the balls to do this, in his situation? He's just become a bit too comfortable here IMO. As evidenced by this quote from yesterday:

“I’m not in any kind of survival mode or fearful of my job or concerned about job security whatsoever."

***NEWS FLASH JEFF*** YOU SHOULD BE!!!
