So, if the Titans were 6-0, everyone is okay with it or no?
Only if he was making fun of Peyton, not wishing he was him..
I'm undecided on how I feel about this. TitanJeff is correct. It's just a joke and just a stupid jersey and if we were 6-0, no one would probably care. On the other hand, we AREN'T 6-0. We are 0-6 and coming off the worst beating in franchise history and one of the worst in NFL history. He couldn't have thought this would be a good idea. Like McNair holding a rally for the Ravens the day before the game. Yes good cause...but really bad timing and stupid.
I said in a previous post that if we are 6-0 he could be as cute and funny as he wants to be. I rescind that comment. I dont think this is acceptable under any circumstances, but it does add fuel to the fire given the current circumstances.
This solidifies what we all wondered out loud. The TEAM Quit on him Sunday. So, today Jeff said F$%$ You back. Not GOOD. NOT Good.
Maybe this is a sign Peyton is coming to the Titans? Maybe he does not feel challenged in Indi.
Sound quality if rough but here tis...
It's not a huge deal, but just shows how much of a double standard there is.
Imagine what the media would do if Vince wore the jersey of a division rival, even as a joke.
Great leadership fisher.
Clearly not a big deal, but the timing is awful. Of course people are going to overreact to this.
