I bet Fisher doesn't even know what the gameplan is. He's just trying to stick up for our new GM.

Well when Reese was canned there was a lot of speculation about whether it was because Fisher wanted more influence, and considering what's going on, Fisher's own statements (and elf's fwiw) it seems likely that it happened that way.

Our goal should be to WIN every game. Will we go 16-0? Not likely. But the goal of every game is to win & I'm confident that Fish, Reinfieldt, etc. will get solid additions through FA & the draft to go along with our current roster so that we have a chance to win every week.

It doesn't matter how we win, i just want to get the W :grrhee:

  6. that would be an ideal goal to achieve

Does our plan include cutting our 1200 yard rusher and not making any moves in FA?

While Fisher may have more input, I doubt if he has the final say on what to pay players. We think we are the Patriots now, and can let anyone walk and still compete. To an extent we can, on offense. I expect a lot more short passes like we did a few years back, with the TE's and backs being more involved. There was no sense in paying Drew 30M ([pretty good salary for someone that drops passes BTW), or Wade, when you can't get the ball to them. My concern is defense, I don't see any moves there, especially at RDE and Safety. Maybe they are expecting Fuller and Lowry to step up, but we certainly need an impact player at end. OLB could use an upgrade too. It is certainly going to be an interesting year to say the least.

    11. a secret or illicit love affair.

I'm not suggesting that fisher is a wordsmith but did he really just mean interesting? And then the question would be interesting how?

There are still several defensive players and d-lineman worth looking at. Nick eason or robaire. Eason could play outside on run downs. I mentioned travis taylor before a WR who had over 50 catches for over 600 yards the last 2 years playing on an offense that was not extremely productive. He's a big physical possession type receiver like brandon jones. we have discussed mccareins on other boards but he isn't a free agent.
