week 2. realistically of course.
Realistically...In Perfect! But for everyone else there's
Didn't work so well for Atlanta.????
Vick has been a starting QB for 4 seasons. The falcons are 33-30-1 in that time and have been to 2 playoffs and an nfc championship game and only had one losing season. In each of their playoff appearences they won a game. All that with a running QB who has a mid 70s passing rating and an anemic 54% comp rate.
Vick has also made 3 pro bowls but that is obviously BS.
In short we can win with young even before he becomes a quality passer. Vick runs for 40 first downs a season and mcnair ran for 50 first downs in 98. A great runner can make up for mediocre passing.
Isn't it a bit over the edge to rave about fish saying that Young has displayed steady improvement?
Could you really imagine him saying that VY hasn't really improved that much and he's to stupid to learn reading NFL defenses if that was the truth?
You all think that it is true Vince is a better athlete than Mcnair was when mcnair came to the titans? Who will be more successful when its all said and done?
If coach fisher thought he wasnt improving hed prob say something like "hos got some work to do but i think in time he will come around" or something like that...im sure he really is getting better anyway
Jeff how do I find the local beat writers blogs. Thanks
Without seeing young against nfl opposition i would rate them equal. Young has to be considered a better runner given what he has done though mcnair was an incredible runner early in his career. Mcnair maybe the better pure passer in terms of arm strength, delivery but young has the quicker release.
Once we see young in action we will have no need to ask that question. We will just be saying wow.
On the right side.
Jeff thanks so much for the info it was great reading. I really appreciate it and the great job you do for all of us.
