Thing is, Reese and the rest of the front office knew full-well he was somewhat injury prone to begin with. He was that way in NE. But you can't fault them for trying. He is a fairly good WR. Thing about THAT is, he can't do much from the sideline, and Vince is GOING TO NEED a tried-and-true playmaker at WR.

The others just aren't getting it done. B.Jones has potential. Wade has potential. But so did Calico, Dyson, and even Peter Sirmon on the defensive side. There are/were too many players with "potential", but never really broke out.

Yesterday's efforts aren't gonna bring today's success. It's time to start winning, and it's obvious all of these players aren't the key. We've gotta fairly strong front 7. We've got our future QB and RB. The O-line isn't anything to phone home about, and the DB's have to start stepping up. ALL of them. Maybe we need a new defensive coordinator. Maybe we need a new GM to make those decisions. Maybe, maybe not. But SOMETHING has to start shaking....and I dont think the head coach is the problem here.

 

Tell that to Kevin Dyson and Tyrone Calico, we can call it the 87 cuse now.

No way.... There are very few injuries that could end a man's career. All tendons can be fixed. The only issue is bone on bone conditions and things that aren't acute. Unfortunately, the ACL (if it is indeed ACL) is a two year injury...
