I don't know that Collins has cost the team any wins. He wasn't the reason they lost to the Jets. They just looked that much worse in defeat this week because of him...

We are not "protecting" Volek for anything.
The only thing being protected by Volek being #3 is Fisher's pride (and perhaps Chow's pride as well).

At this point we could put in Manning or Palmer at QB and still be a terrible team. Collins isnt costing us wins by himself, and Volek wouldnt be some sort of savior. In saying that however, they arent going to go with Volek and I do think it has to do with the coach's pride. As bad as it is right now, how bad would Fisher and Chow look if they did start Volek and our offense did start producing.

Either you're incredibly misinformed or incredibly spoiled. Volek's attitude throughout his career here has been near perfect, when compared to the rest of the NFL.

And yeah, McNair had great attitude: didn't bother to practice, didn't bother to hang around his young receivers and jumped ship for some extra :greedy:, yeah great attitude

Your logic is flawed, when a team has a large lead they don't play soft by letting you pass for huge gains, they let you run and complete short passes to take time of the clock.

Schwartz goes completly soft when the Titans have a 9+ point lead at anytime in the second half of a game. Mid third kick a FG to go up 17-7 and watch the amazing Schwartzie go into his pathetic cover 2 allowing a TD drive of merly 5 plays covering an amazing 76 yards!. Got a 3 point lead in the 4th - SAME THING!

now most NFL teams protect a lead as you stated Vigsted, but not MbSGWB dehr Schwartzie. Do the Titans win at home against the Jags last year if the D goes into full Gary Coleman attack mode while protecting the lead late in the 4th - who can say cause dehr Schwartzie knows all and is willing to loose multiple times to prove some stasticital point only he is aware of.

Now that I have turned this into an anti-Schwartz thing I am signingi off
