True or False?
Well, i belive it's true, but for all the wrong reasons.
I think fisher would have rather #9 rework his deal for say 2 years start this season and then step aside for VY next year. It would have been ideal, McNair could have retired a Titan and passed the torch to VY.
to think that fisher would rather start kerry collins, billy volek or vince young this season over mcnair is pretty hard to believe.
saying stuff like that can get a whole foot up your ***.
I am sure he really didn't want to... but SURELY he wasn't willing to have him eat up 25% of our cap.
Of course he didn't WANT to trade McNair, none of us did (well save a select few, you know who you are). However the situation was such that it was impossible to keep for the greater good of the team. I think Fisher realises that, I mean if McNair stayed he would have had to release Sirmon, Pillar and Olson and maybe even a few others, and considering he won't even bench them, I doubt he'd want to cut them.
I'm gonna say that he didn't want to trade McNair, but probably thought it would be for the better. And I don't think that he wanted McNair to get locked out of the facility.
i misunderstood how the question was worded take 1 from false and put it true
