Wasent it Jeff Triplett who was making all those retarted calls?

And wasent he the ref who hit Orlando Brown in the eye a few years ago with a flag and in return got his butt whipped by Orlando?

I am glad he said something. These officials get away with this cr@p too often without being checked. That was one of the most BS calls I have ever seen Then, with the opportunity to correct it, nothin!!!!

    Go Fish...

  6. yea, fisher getting fined is complete crap, and the league spends so much time fining players, they need to look at the refs, becasue they definately had something to do with the outcome of this game

Triplett was the referee, but it was umpire Jim Quirk who made the [mis]call.

They broke it down tonight on NFL total access......Pereria gave his typical BS answer. Since the ref ruled down by contact they assume the players stopped fighting for the ball in the scrum, and since they could not clearly see who fell on it, they could not uphold the recovery by the Titans. Eisen was incredulous about it.

Sometimes calls are very close, sometimes they aren't close but you can see something that might have made you think it was closer than it was BUT the running back was standing straight up, not close to the ground not falling to the ground, he was upright no way this offical didnt see the play. Not only should he be fined but suspended as well for at least 2 games. When officals make terrible calls that change the outcome of the game they should be held accountable, suspend the idiot. Great that Fisher took a $12,500 hit for the team by saying what he did I'm sure this earned him even more resperct in thier eyes. Best $12,500 you have spent in a while Coach.

Yeah, now the refs will just start making up more stuff in the rest of the league. The ball was clearly fumbled, but he was ruled down by contact (i believe). In games past, whoever was the strongest at the bottom of the pile got possession. That's the way it was. You always hear things like "you don't want to be at the bottom of that pile with all of the clawing and gnashing of teeth!" In making the call that the ref did, he pretty much said that if the ball is fumbled anytime in the future into a pile, the fumble did not even occur. What logic is that? There was a fumble and that was field position that could have decided that game. The Titans were robbed of a victory over one of their most hated rivals. This will at least fire the team up this week and for the rest of the season. Next year's Ravens game will be great. It'd be nice if all Titans fans would pay 50 cents or something towards the fine on Fisher. That would show the league just how wrong that call was... or they would just blow it off and we would be named the most loyal and generous fans in the league. We win either way.
