Granted, it's a Yahoo! Sports kinda thing, but somebody's gotta do it.

I can't argue with Belichick at #1 despite his occasional unsportsmanlike demeanor; however I find Peyton's #2 spot questionable despite his Lombardi trophy.

Interesting quote from Leinart on Ken Whisenhunt's spot at #8. Enjoy.

Yeah, I find it a bit questionable; like all football-related things, rankings are pointless due to the number of variables.

So says Vincent Fuller, but often to the detriment of the team, as has been argued here a million times.

What a stupid list, how is Pete Carrol 23rd?

I like Fisher but I don't love him, if I could pick from someone below him on the list I'd say Harbaugh. I think he's what everything Fisher needs to be based on the talent on the team. Also, it would be nice to finally take someone from the Ravens as opposed to the other way around.

Bad time to post this article. The Blount lovers will rip it to shreds.

    Terrible list.

Fisher, Payton, and Shanahan are too high.

Reid, Coughlin, Smith, Sparano, and Lewis are too low.

Agree. A better time to post it would have been after being beaten AT HOME to a team we were better than in the Baltimore Ravens in the playoffs a few years ago. Or maybe post it after the 0-6 start when everyone had sky high expectations for this team. Or hell, just post it after New England treated us like a high school team last year and title it "Belichick #1 in best coaches list." But not after Blount was cut.
