    Its not about who would have signed Mularkey.

    Its about nobody would stay here with Mularkey if it was a 1 year deal.

    Jason Michaels the OC now QB coach would have gone to Rams for one. Dick would have retired or left most likely and then we wouldn't have been able to hire anyone to be DC.

    my point is what influence does mularkey have on bringing decent coaches to the titans not much in my opinion.

    Your initial point was anyone can be hired on any type of contract.

    All I am saying is that is untrue. If that were the case every coach would be on 1 year deals.

    without arguing if the patriots said there next coach was on a 1 year trial period would no coach go for the position?
