What I wanna know is why was Nick Harper guarding Andre Johnson instead of Cort?

 

I think it's too early to make a call on Cecil but he hasn't impressed yet. Nick Harper needs to be demoted. Mouton should be thrown out there. Harper never was a great cover guy to begin with. Good tackler but no cover skills. Peyton and Brady will embarrass us we don't get it together.

Schaub is a damn joke and we made him look like a pro bowler out there. Pathetic. Makes me sick. We should have had half a dozen sacks today.

 

I think we need to let Jeff do more of the Defensive playcalling.

This is the same thing Schwartz did though, play soft zone, no blitz, no rush up front. Our secondary can't cover everything, you have to get into the QB's face. Honestly, I have more problems with our front 7 than anyone.

If you wanna fire anyone, KVB, Kearse, and Thorton are first on my chopping block. And i do hate to say that cus i love those guys for all that they've done for this team but they are not gettin it done anymore.

 

Because Jeff Fisher's an idiot that assigns DBs to SIDES instead of players. I've always hated that because all teams have to do is keep their best receiver on the weaker corner's side. And Fisher will let the team pick us apart with that struggling DB vs their star receiver all game long without adjusting.

It's always been that way. Just another case of the old man being too stubborn to adjust.

He better get his stuff together and get his defense better... FAST.

I want to give the guy time to settle down and improve... but we've got some older players and, these days, windows aren't open that long. KB, KVB, Harper... those guys are probably gone or cut next season.

I just don't feel like we have much time to wait... I'd like KB to get a championship - an AFC championship, at the very least. :hmm:

I did like Pac's play. He was fun to watch and had some serious talent. Too bad all that stuff happened off the field.

But I agree, we need some major help at CB. I got worried every time Andre lined up against Harper. None of our secondary guys looked good today though. I think the Stafford and the Lions could have put up at least 300 passing yards.

 

Jets kill us. We could very well be 0 - 3.
