    DB's are helped out greatly by the defensive line, when KVB and Haynesworth got it going it's not a coincidence that our DB's were playing at a pro bowl level.

    yea its Jerry, but I know you knew that. DW, I am shocked there hasnt been 15 posters harping on you for making a mistake!!

    JC, there has to be a part of you that believes, hey Griffin is not that great, but he can be decent-good and its better than risking $$$ on landry or bum azz nelson. Also, if our pass rush improves like we are planning then maybe, just maybe griff will improve. Gray needs to teach him angles and to put his hands up to deflect more too.

    Jerry Gray has to teach him? Griffin has been in the league long enough that he is what he is. There are no question marks in Griffin's game. He is an average coverage guy and a weak tackler who is 100% overrated because he gets turnovers.

    Things you CAN teach= put your dang arm up instead of whiffing for the ball...

    Old dogs CAN learn new tricks. your name is finnebosch, well finny was saying earlier this season how gray was teaching him new stuff and everything made since...

    No, what Griffin needs is Blaine Bishop to show him how and when to hit foo's. Griffin has two weaknesses:

    1. He is constantly out of position and away from the play

    2. When he rarely is in position for a tackle, he is too touchy feely and soft. Somebody needs to toughen that boy up!

    In his defense though, he has the tools to make himself a better than average player but he also needs direction given to him by someone (Maxie or Bishop).
