Favre Haters Eat Crow

Not sure that comment makes any sense. The 49ers are pretty good this year and are only giving up 320 yards total per game. That was also the 49ers first loss.

 

What is this hate all about anyway. Off field shenanigans? It isn't like the guy is raping 5 year old boys or something. If anything I blame the media for blowing all this stuff out of proportion. The guy is like a kid playing a gme. How can you hate that? I seriously doubt he does anything to be a media whore. He isn't TO. Just the opposite IMO. IN that game there was a play where he ran down field 40 yard to land a block. Every team needs guys who play with that kind of enthusiasm. Keep in mind if he had his way he would have retired a Packer.

 

Nothing to do with current performance, even if he were having the worst QB year, I would still back him to do that pass against them, he just does these things to the 49ers.

 

The "game" he plays is retiring-unretiring all the time and holding out for the last second just to do things on his own terms. That's how he gets the media attention. I never was a big fan of his to begin with, but all the stuff he has pulled the past few years has made me lose all respect for him.

And as far as the Packers go, I think they made the right decision to cut ties with him the way they did. Aaron Rodgers is growing into one of the premier quarterbacks in the NFL and has a bright future. I'd take him on my team over Favre any day.

Gloat's right, he'll fizzle out towards the end of the season when they need him most. However, I've been impressed so far.
