Today at work a co-worker asked me who my favorite prospect was in this upcoming draft, and it was really hard for me to chose one guy.

So... who is everyones favorite prospect? Position, team need, round projected doesn't matter... just your favorite prospect in this entire draft. You only get ONE favorite, so who you got?!

    I'll start:

I love Matt Elam, Xavier Rhodes, DeAndre Hopkins, Terry Hawthorne, DJ Swearinger and Tank Carradine... but my #1 favorite player in this draft:

    Sheldon Richardson, DT, Mizzou
    6'3 295 34 1/2 arms
    4.96 40, 30 BP, 32" Vert
2012: 75 tackles, 10.5 TFL, and 4.0 sacks (jr, starter, in the SEC :brow:)
2011: 37 tackles, 8 TFL, and 2.0 sacks (soph, backup)
Chose Mizzou over many big schools to stay with his hometown team, respect. Played at 315+ (he claims) in 2011, lost weight, and played at 295-300 in '12.

He's a 3-tech DT, reminds me of Henry Melton/Geno Atkins. Problem is, we don't really need another 3-tech to pair with Casey/Martin. We need a 0-tech, but man I think this guy will be a stud.

He'll be better in the NFL than in college, I think.

Not my favorite draft prospect, but the player I think would give us the best value outside the 1st round if we can get him in the 3rd round. That would be John Jenkins from UGA.

You can't teach size, that's for sure. He's physically a freak... with a good coach he could be a monster.

DW wants Margus Hunt, so let's draft him.

He looks like and has the name to be a Buffalo Bill type player. I bet the Bills draft him with their 2nd pick. Just watch.

San Fran with their 1st, imagine him on one side and Justin Smith on the other.

It use to be Elam before we signed 2 x SS's.

    I really like Robert Woods,WR. He's a steal in the 2/3 round.
Later prospects I like include Zeke Motta SS, Alvin Bailey G and Cornelious Washignton DE

I would have to say my favorite prospect is Quinton Patton. Great size and speed. 1b is Justin Hunter. Let's just say I really want a WR in the 2nd round.
