Close second would be Sandler and the combo of Owen Wilson/Vince Vaughn

    Number 3 - Jack Black

Hmmm... very interesting thread you got going here CC. There's a lot of actors that I like right now. DiCaprio has hit on his last few movies (The Departed, Blood Diamond). Another actor that I like is Don Cheadle, the guy from Hotel Rwanda and Crash.

I agree on all counts except Heat, which drops a tier from his roles the Scorsese pics.
I gotta go with Clint and DeNiro for the classics and Daniel Day Lewis specifically for roles in Gangs of NY and The Crucible - powerful stuff...
For TV I gotta go with Ian Mcshane for his role as Al Swearingen of Deadwood...

Edward Norton is genius. Leo DiCaprio is deserving some respect, which I'm glad to see he's getting here.

But let's say you're a Hollywood producer/director, and your project is floundering. The script wasn't what you thought it was, the acting bites, nothing is going right. How do you save this mess, recoup your investment and turn a hefty profit?
Easy: Get Morgan Freeman to appear. In any capacity.
