When your right your right. Our players, free agents, either one we don't pay. We try to win by spending as little as possible, sad but true.

The amount of made-up gibberish you post is hilarious.. "Owners hate players, CJ won't get hurt.."
CJ went down when it counted most.

If The Titans aren't paying the players or FA's where's the money going?
Titans have a league upper-half payroll - more than The Colts or the spend-happy Redskins..

The stuff you don't know about you think I'm making up, okay....
C.J. is not a liability what so ever. He was maliciously attack by savages when his ankle was messed up.

What are you doing right now if you don't mind me asking....

to overpaid underachieving vets that have been signed for "depth".

And I'd like to see the source that everybody keeps referring to that says we have one of the top payrolls. (not coming at you personally cc)

I mean what better statement is there about FO inefficiency if we have a more expensive payroll without any playoff wins?

He's a commentator paid to comment. Whether it's valid or not is up for debate. The facts clearly state the Titans are in the upper tier of salaries.

Does CJ deserve more money? No doubt. Who can argue it? Where the issue gets complicated is that the Titans can't pay him anything close to what he wants unless they are willing to risk a ton of money by making it a signing bonus and that won't happen.

If CJ wants to be paid more than Steven Jackson, that means a five-year, $50 mil deal. Since the 30% rule only allows for a $165,000 increase in '10 ($715,000), that means he would have to be paid a $49 mil signing bonus.

The Titans, or any other team in the NFL, would be stupid to pay that.
