    He had to get a restraining order against most of his family back in November. Now it turns out they, allegedly, stole money from him too.

    I bet this kind of stuff happens a lot more often than it's reported. Sad, but true.

    I'd be willing to be a test subject and be a millionaire to see if I could say no to my family...

    Heard about this the other day. Sucks. You'd like to think you could trust your own family, but money changes everything. Sounds like this family might have been a bunch of losers from the get-go though.

    I could see that happening if I ever came into a ton of money. I do not even know how many first cousins I have. But yeah, from immediate family it is just disgusting. Poor guy must feel so alone now.

    There's nothing wrong with money. It's the LOVE of money that corrupts. Unfortunately, most people who have money are guilty of loving it too much, for if you don't love it,then it is not necessary that you accumulate it to the tunes of millions and for some, billions.

    Money comes with the temptation to become obsessed with it or as you say "love". Money is innately corrupting. If we went back to the old bartering system you wouldn't see this happen. WTF would want to steal 1 million beaver pelts?!?! :)
