so , have you finished yet ? was it worth it ? did it get better ?
I was torn over getting this, GTAIV, CODwaw or GearsII
I chose this, because I like to be engrossed in a gameworld
while, I wasn't to particularly thrilled with Project Ego, I hear PEter made some strides here. have also caught many a critic give this a nod for GOTY

jjst wondering , before I crack the seal, if this is an OWN or a RENT (even a multiple rent)

Not done yet, but close. I've liked it, was worth my money at least. It can be a bit monotonous at times, but many rpgs are. I think it has solid replay value, which is another reason to own for me....plus I like finding all the little things and doing side quests that are insignificant to the main quest.

i tell ya who really likes it .... my 8 yr old daughter ..... that's right, she was hooked.
not sure if hardcore RPGer's dig it, but to kids, that glowing (go this way) trail works magic, plus the control scheme is about as easy as it gets

The whole game is fairly easy, not much learning curve. That's fine by me though, I just beat it and it was a fun game.

I was a good guy to start, now I want to play it through as a straight up a-hole for kicks
    1 people high five this.

    ALSO

my kid wants to play too
if I start a new game, does it overwrite mine ? (i'll probably save it to the internal MU)

didn't much care for a single save slot...most rpg's offer you as many as you need

That I'm not sure of Puckster. Haven't started my new game yet, may research on the web some before starting another to make sure my first game isn't erased....but you'd think it'd be crazy if it would.

edit: after a quick net search, folks are saying it won't erase your old game. Looks like you can chose a new file.

what happens ,is that a new game is started and held to a card slot, which is viewed when you select "continue" if you have more than one game, which are called "Hero 1", "Hero 2" ,etc...

the save system remains persistent, as there is only 1 save slot for each hero (I still prefer multiple slots), but it does make things more interesting as far as game progression goes

this setup allows you to run separate quests for good and evil . if you ran with the good guy for a bit, saved and exited, you could do the same quests over with an evil twist

yes, theoreticaly, you can do that with many RPG's, but the way say Oblivion, Fallout,etc.. slot your saves (grouped together and in order that they were saved, you have to hunt around for each separate user

anyone else have problems with lock-up in this game ?
    I tried it all
deleting everything related to the game
including all save files :irked: (thank god I'd just started)
i installed it to the HDD
I downloaded the required update from LIVE
I set the save games to the internal MU
    I cleared the cache

and none of that worked,.... until I discovered I was doing the right things in the wrong order

I've played it a lot and had no problemos. Played it so long I expected my 360 to blink the red eye. Better luck, Puck. Cheesy rhyme time.
