Yes because experts are wrong every year with a couple players. The thing experts can judge is what the players work ethic will be once he's a millionaire. The busts typically have no work ethic and the guys who no one thought would be great play with a chip on their shoulder.

    Darren McFadden:

Height: 6'2 (3 inches taller than CJ)
    Weight: 205lbs (5 lbs heavier)
Skills: RUNS TO THE OUTSIDE EVERY PLAY. He never breaks a tackle. Never makes anyone miss. He only ran to the outside in college and outran everyone to the endzone.

Yet, experts LOVE McFadden. I don't get it. Chris Johnson's arms are probably thicker than McFadden's legs.

And adrian peterson's 6'1 217 lbs. The reason some guys are considered better is because they run better. It has nothing to do with size and speed when it comes to good runners.

its obvious he will line up at rb sometime this season...but wont be surprised if they use him more often in ways they used pac on offense....whenver he seemed to get the ball...it was first down...i envision CJ as a similar type of reciever out of the backfield pac was.

I remember one of the guys from the NFLTA takled bout our draft as good...erhaps he sees the same thing in CJ as our staff does. but i reall don giv what they say...

....w/ cj outa the backfield...n crump underneath....our receivers will hopefully find some more room

And if he turns out to be Chris Henry 2.0 is there going to be any accountability? I don't think so. If he were and we reached on a project next year, people would still defend it with highlight film and "you never know." Because you can defend anything this way--you can do it indefinitely for every pick in the draft and technically be right.

I personally don't see a problem with CJ as a player, at least he has some resume where CH did not. It's the way we're using these picks that spooks me. It's about value. Say what you want about LenDale, but he was a high-profile guy that Floyd picked up in the second round after moving down and picking up an extra 4th in the process of doing so. But with a 1st rounder we'll take a shot on a guy like this (who will maybe play WR--when has that ever worked? Like drafting a safety to play corner) but we would never, ever trade this pick for Roy Williams or Anquan Boldin or take a shot at drafting a WR because it's too risky.

I was talking about if they were both busts, that would be two combine standout rbs from small schools we took a chance on.

The way I see it, the combine was the excalimation point on CJ. For Chris Henry, it was the paragraph.
