Titans receiver Kendall Wright led the team in receptions as a rookie, so it came as a bit of a surprise when he was so quiet in Sunday’s season-opening win against the Steelers.

Wright had just two catches for 11 yards in the game. He played in only 19 of the team’s 67 offensive snaps.

Wright expects to be more involved in the offense in the coming weeks, but said he’s prepared to block if that’s what he’s needed to do on game days. Titans offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains has also said Wright will be more involved moving forward.

“Whatever we have to do to get the win, whether it’s passing or running, that’s all that matters,” said Wright, who caught 64 passes for 626 yards in 2012. “It just depends on what the defense is doing.”

Wright, who missed the final two preseason games with a knee injury, estimated he was roughly “95 percent” against the Steelers.

He hasn’t set any goals for this fall after a solid rookie season.

“I just want to catch everything thrown to me and make plays, no matter how many it is,’’ he said. “I want to be better than I was last year, and get more yards after the catch. I just want to Doing the things I know I can do to play well.”

He'll get a lot more opportunities this Sunday. The Texans LBs looked slow in coverage so I expect to see a lot of quick passes which allow for yards after the catch.

He's probably our most skilled WR, though Nate was the most valuable last week.

I'd also like to see Hunter replace Williams as our #4 WR. That 3rd down drop was inexcusable last week. Hopefully they at least consider it.
