    This is a post-game quote from Vince:

    "I just feel like that is what a quarterback is supposed to do. If the offense is not clicking like it was today, you have to step out there. If defense is coming off the field and they see one of their guys as a leader come up and tell them ‘good job,’ ‘don’t worry about it,’ ‘we’ve got your back,’ and different things like that, just like they do us when we don’t make a first down or a third down or we don’t get a touchdown. You see those guys step in right there and say ‘we’ve got your back’ and vice versa. We’ve got to keep motivating each other."

    Vince has unbelievable skills but IMO this is why he is 7-4 as a starter. :thumb:

    Yep, its the little things like that, that has helped the Titans more than anything you would otherwise notice, this team is becoming very closely tight knit group...

    This is definately what would differentiate him from alot of talented players. He can definately motivate those around him.

    I'm so glad we didn't take Cutler or Lienart not because there not good QB's but because VY is the right fit in this franchise and exactly what we needed from a QB and player someone to inspire, motivate, and play with some fire in his gut.

    Probably more like "I am playing like crud today...please cover THE TEAM'S butt."

    I really question your skills of perception if you think Vince is a "me" player.

    I have no doubt, if we were to be trailing late in the 4th, that Vince's "Hero Mode" would have activated

    Something was wrong with Vince yesterday. He only answered two questions post game then left. Hope he works out whatever is the problem.
