I don't think TT has gotten an honest shot to show what he can do in games. I hope we give it to him.
yea he deserves his shot jus for bein a beast in the blocking game. plus I think he can definitely be a upgrade overall over stephens if given a true opportunity and coaching and this staff should be able to coach up a promising young tight end
He's the reason we should have let Stevens go. He can block just as well and has way more athleticism which may or may not equate into anything but still....
I think it is pretty cool that at 11 this year, we can do ANYTHING! That includes trading down- a real possibility if QBs slide (and they will). I want Barr, but I would be totally fine to take WR (Evans) if he is there. I guess that the only real pick that I want is Hyde. Hyde all day, Hyde all day while I am dancing! GIVE ME SOME HYDE PLEASE!
It was a horrible pick. Drafted a damn de to play te. So stupid
It was such a late pick. Worth the risk like Hammer said. And the guy has at least proven to be a great blocker. The problem was that people here were claiming he was the next Gronk. What a ridiculous expectation that was. Expectations were too high and that is what has caused some to hate him.
TT is still so young. He has two more seasons under contract. I still think he can be a decent receiving TE. He hasn't exactly had many opportunities in the passing game.
Yeah just like drafting Jimmy Graham was a horrible idea since he only had one year of football exp. They had basically identical measurables and it was a 5th round pick. Relax.
Drafting Thompson was a **** idea. Look at the results. I could've told you that **** before we drafted him.
It is NOT worth the risk to draft players to play positions they don't play.
Based on good homer feelings I guess? Cause there is nothing to suggest he will be a decent receiving TE.
