Eric Berry out for the year

    Since we're on the topic of losing guys to knee injuries, I'd like to bring up Derrick Morgan. Munchak is hoping to have him back for the Ravens game this coming Sunday, and I just want to put it out there that I think rushing him back is the biggest mistake Munchak might make the entire season.

    I understand the need to have him back, when healthy he's our best DE, but this guy still has a week or two IMO before that knee is stable enough to endure 320lb tackles pushing on him.

    I take jabs at all players but it's usually light-hearted. As this one toward Berry was. He actually had a good year in '10... though the pro-bowl still means absolutely nothing considering washed up nobodies still make it while deserving players don't.

    Players I like? Tons. Calvin Johnson, Desean Jackson, Vick, Best, Britt, Suh, etc etc... just some favorites.

    You know...

    Tashard Choice might be the only RB in the league Chris Johnson played better than this past week.

    Choice will still beat him in YPC come season's end.

    I'd say Beason.

    Berry is a very good Safety, but Beason is a great ILB. Both guys being gone hurts their teams big time, but since you have to go through the LB's then the safeties, I say losing a great LB hurts more.

    You're mad he went to Africa to pass out mislabeled Super Bowl shirts with some of the leagues best players? IDK if I'd be upset with that, I bet he learned a lot about himself while in a place where children die daily because of malnourishment.

    I'm guessing all those kids got a lot more from him coming to help them than he could in any rehab facility.

    Not like the dude went to Hawaii to go surf during his vacation.

    Derrick went to Africa to give people the gift of hearing. Don't fool yourself into thinking he missed something important in the States.
