Should've added price into that "style/fuel-efficiency" equation. I'm betting this thing is pretty damn expensive.

    Around 70k base.

But hey, you save 9k every 5 years in gas!

Was always a fan of the Tesla.

Kinda pricey... need a happy medium.

As a parent, if Mazda made their Mazda5 more efficient - a hybrid, even - I'd be all over it.

The '13+ Jetta hybrid gets about 45mpg, I think.

If it was just the wife and me... Unfortunately, need a "family friendly" vehicle that is efficient.

Tesla has an SUV in the works..
And if it's not family friendly enough there's always the "leave the kids in the hot car while you text dick pics to underage girls" option. Works every time!

    Not bad... not paying $70k+!

Also... HATE those type of doors. It wouldn't be accessible in my garage with the other car in there.

I almost got the basic model, did a test drive but the wait for one is over a year. Other issue I have with them is that you need to have a charging station installed in your house. They say you can charge over 220 but takes a very long time. I know I would get home and forget to plug it in sometimes.

The price is high yes, but gas prices are even higher so that really takes off the cost of the car because you do spend money on gas anyways right now. I fill up my truck and it's retarded the bills I see because of it. Couple hundred a month, plus car payment could I would be paying about the same for a basic model and no gas.

    Plus you get tax breaks.
