Well if that's the case, both he and Vince aren't going then. I see C.J. in there with no problem. Vince, while I'd love to say he's a hall of famer, he's got a lot of work to put in first.

I like the fact Chris Johnson is setting his goals high. That means if we pay him he's gonna want to produce year after year. That's the kind of player you want. The one who won't ease up after they've made a few accomplishments.

I like the guy. He plays hard every Sunday.

What's wrong with that being a goal of his?

I'm sure every NFL player's goal is to win a Super Bowl and/or get inducted into the Hall of Fame.

It doesn't mean it'll happen. You have to be very good consistently. Even some great players don't make it. If CJ can play 10 years and stay consistent, he'll have no trouble making it.

 

I think it's ok to say that your goal is to get to the hall of fame. I think what looks bad is saying that you are going, or that you know that you're going.

A consistent CJ for 10 years will crush the Hall of Fame.
