Early 53 Man Projection

    Its crazy early, but fun to go through none the less. There will be UDFA that could push for a spot or a future cap casualty that we could add. But, as of now, here is how I see the current best 53

    QB: Mariota, Cassell
    RB: Murray, Henry, Muhammad
    FB: Fowler
    Wide Receivers: Davis, Matthews, Taylor, Sharpe, McBride, Douglas
    Tackle: Lewan, Conklin, Kelly, Seaton
    Guard: Spain, Kline, Tretola, Lelito
    Center: Jones
    Tight End: Walker, Smith, Supernaw, Amaro

    Nose Guard: Williams, Blackson
    Defensive End: Casey, Jones, Johnson, Klug
    Outside Linebacker: Morgan, Orakpo, Dodd, Carraway, Wallace
    Inside Linebacker: Williamson, Woodyard, Brown, Bates
    Cornerback: Ryan, Jackson, Sims, Reed, McCain, Smith
    Safety: Byard, Cyprien, Searcy, Trawick

    Long Snapper: Brinkley
    Kicker: Succop
    Punter: Kern

    Cuts: Eric Weems and Corey Levin.

    Could easily see Weems replace Douglas or McBride
    Could easily see Levin replace Lelito or Tretola

    I don't think McBride makes it. Weems instead imo.

    Also i'm 50/50 if Reed does.

    I really doubt that Muhammed does but ill root for the shortie.

    but otherwise yea pretty solid.

    I bet Douglas stays on as the vet in the WR room, no McBride.
    I bet a different 3rd RB or Fluellen over Bin Laden.
    I bet 2 of those CBs are not there, and we snatch another vet up.

    I can see another Safety

    Damn, our ILBs are weak. We need another guy at OLB too, especially with Orakpo/Morgan injury history.

    Think we carry 6 WRs? I bet only one of Douglas, McBride, and Weems make it. Pretty sure Weems is a goner since he was brought in as a returner and we have Adoree and Muhammed now. So either McBride or Douglas should be our 5th.

    I think Lelito will be slotted as Jones backup, but can also play G.
    Riley could beat Trawick out as S.
    You think Palmer's gone after they just resigned him?
    I agree Cassel over Tanney simply bc he is the vet that can help the team in camp the most while Yoda is recovering.
