What would it take for Munch to do this? Would we need a viable replacement. Do we have one? Is it even Gray's Fault?

Eagles fired defensive coordinator Juan Castillo.

Heads begin to roll in Philly. Castillo, a converted offensive line coach, has come under heavy fire for mismanaging his plentiful talent during a 3-3 start. The Eagles rank 13th in points allowed per game and 12th in yards allowed, but are 30th in sacks with just seven. The final straw was when Castillo inexplicably changed strategy on Calvin Johnson late in Sunday's overtime loss the Lions, leading to a blown 10-point lead with five minutes to go. "We're six games into the season and average isn't good enough," coach Andy Reid said. Castillo has been replaced by ex-Dolphins interim head coach Todd Bowles.

His defense was 13th in the NFL in scoring, 12th in total yards. Reid couldnt do that if it were handed to him.

    scapegoat

Part is on Gray, but were not going to do anything until we fix our pass rush.

I'm really beginning to wonder if offensive line coaches can ever be coordinators or head coaches. They come from a job which requires no creativity, no imagination, it's always the same from those guys.

Saints interim coach is their O-Line coach, and they have 1 win.

Munchak is a O-Line coach, and we have just 2 wins.

Juan Castillo was Philly's O-Line coach before becoming the D-Coordinator, and he's been awful the last 2 seasons.

Has there been any O-Line guys who've done well at other jobs?

The other problem the Eagles have is they'll never fire Andy Reid. The owner has said that as long as he owns the team, Andy is the coach. Andy is too comfortable, he's got Fisher Complex.
