Titans defensive tackle Sen’Derrick Marks likes to consider himself a tough guy, and he wants to prove it on Sunday by returning to action against the Chargers.

Marks missed the opener against the Patriots with a right knee injury. He returned to practice on Wednesday.

“I anticipate going Sunday, regardless of how much time I get on the practice field. I don’t know what the coaches plans are for me, but I am ready to go full go,’’ Marks said. “I go in with the attitude that even if I am not 100 percent, I am still going to have the attitude that I am going to go all out.”

Marks said the Titans will face a tough guy in Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers.

After the Titans struggled getting to New England’s Tom Brady in the season, opener, he thinks the team’s defensive linemen will have more of a chance since Rivers likes to thrown downfield to tight end Antonio Gates and his receivers.

“Philip knows exactly where he wants to go with the ball, and he reads coverage and is a good quarterback,’’ Marks said. “But Rivers will hold the ball because he likes the deep ball. We’ll have more time to get to him, but they protect well.

“He’s a tough guy. … Just knowing from previous years, as much noise as he talks, you can’t get in his head and rattle him. He is going to go 110 percent no matter how many times you hit him. He’s tough.”

Agreed. They've all got to step their game up, we need them to get after the QB or else Rivers will carve us up even worse than Brady did.

I woke up not long ago at 4 am on a Sunday morning, and guess who I see preaching to the congregation.... Philip Rivers. I was surprised, but then I realized he's a southern boy so of course he's religious.

Sometimes I forget football players are people first.

He's more outspoken about his faith than Tebow.

Which proves people don't hate Tebow because of his faith- it's because he sucks.

    I remember this gem:

Philip Rivers' sex life sucks, basically.

hahaha, Philip Rivers has a little weewee

He said "it couldn't be any better cause it's brand new". LMAO, funny but true, unless she's tight as crap and you don't fit.
