Apparently Drew Carey is the new host of The Price is Right. Good choice, or does it not even matter anymore?

Well if you look at some of the potential replacements, maybe Drew Carey wasn't that bad of a choice. You had George Hamilton, Mario Lopez, Dave Price, John O'Hurley, Rosie O'Donnell, Ian Ziering, Dan Patrick (who I would have picked), Mark Steines, and Todd Newton

Yeah, they shouldn't have kept it going. They should have taken it in a different direction, which it sounds like they may be doing with Drew Carey.

Why a comedian at all?

Bob barker is not a damn comedian, never was. The job does not involve cracking jokes or being a smartass.

Maybe a sports guy would have been good for this because they are enthusiastic and exacting in their approach but with some humor . Dan patrick, keith olberman, rich eisen would do well i think.

The replacement can't be someone too young, can't be someone who has a mental problem or has an axe to grind. Thje fact that rosie odonnell would even be thought of for this job is really stupid.
