    Exactly

You would have to imagine Wright is back, and I just don't think we snag a QB and have him come along quick enough to take advantage of the wide outs. You would essentially be throwing away one of those guys. I think this pick needs to go on defense, specifically the front seven.

Jesus Christ do you make some big assumptions and stretches based on ONE sentence.

Did I say we should draft a QB at 11 automatically? No. I said the 49ers already had a guy who could take advantage of having great weapons around him. We don't and shouldn't invest more in a position we've already invested heavily in when we don't have someone who can utilize them.

If we keep opposing offenses from scoring more points and we maintain our productivity offensively, or something shocking happens and Locker turns out ok, we'd be better off.

I also said I wouldn't throw a fit if we drafted Watkins or Lee because they're that talented, so simmer the **** down.

Truly, Titans just have WAY too many needs that can't be answered in the draft alone. Gonna take a few drafts to clean house. But at least we know change is coming for the better

So he already had great weapons but they drafted a Wr anyway? Good move eh? Dwight Clark a 2 time pro bowl WR was only 27 years old at the time. Good thing they drafted Rice they might not have won 3 more super bowls with Rice .

Of course to take advantage of great weapons you have to have great weapons. I would think an average QB could get some benefit from great weapons. So the Lions should trade Megatron because they don't have a great Qb to take advantage of him?

Jesus Christ you make no damn sense!

Whoever our Qb is the next year and the following years let's give that QB the best chance to succeed.

If we are so bad we need to "clean house" than why was Munch fired? I thought the idea was that we had some good players and expected more from them than 7-9. We are not rebuilding.

Well hopefully Watkins or Evans will turn out to be the next Jerry Rice for us.

Honestly, i'd take Sammy Watkins at #11. We'd probably suck another year, hopefully land a QB next year (if Locker doesn't work out). Wright + Watkins + Hunter = Nasty.

Obviously, there's about 8 other players i'd want over Sammy.
