Eh. The Jags are still a tough team. I think our wins are overall pretty credible.

Besides we beat the Bengals and Texans fairly easily so we didn't struggle with the bad teams.

 

Well I don't think anyone will disagree that we're definitely gonna have to play better football than we did this past Sunday if we expect to stay competitive. Don't get me wrong, we made some great plays and whatnot but I'm talking about the overall perspective.

 

Sorry to be the stats nerd here, but you can't quote numbers like 1-7 when 3 of those losses were against us. Essentially, you're saying that we're not that impressive because we can only beat teams that can't even beat us. It makes no sense.

 

HAHA you can't really say anything to that.

 

The stat may be misleading, but is anyone going to argue that the Texans or Bengals are better than their records? They've both looked pretty darn bad, and the Jags have been rocked by injuries.

I'm ready to see us pull one out against a good team. Thanks to our schedule though, it's going to be a while. The vikings this week are the best test we'll get until MNF.

Plus of the other loses none of those were blowouts except the Texans loss to Pittsburg. But bad teams get up for tough games and we may have been looking past this game and playing down somewhat.
