As good as Landry is, we just spent a ton on WR between the #5 pick/ 3rd round pick / decker.

Not sure that's the weak point on this team needing addressed still. I bet their asking for a 1st/2nd round pick too.

Watch the Patriots swoop in with a 5th rounder as Edelman's replacement.

He's had the most catches of anyone in the league over his first 3 seasons. Are the dolphins retarded?

Dolphins should just know better. How badly did they get burned by Welker?
I'd be good if they straight came out and said, "Landry is on the block. Not really for you NE."

drafted tannehill before kuechly, got rid of rishard matthews for kenny stills, traded for byron maxwell, overpaid for mario williams just to cut him. if they traded him it wouldn't surprise me.

Except for Williams, all of those are good/ok moves.

They needed a QB, Kuechly wasn't going to fix that.

Stills for Matthews, is that a downgrade?

Signing Maxwell at a position of need, FA busts happen.

Overpaying for Williams is the big burn to me.

His YPC are pretty pedestrian and he doesn't score TDs.

He's an exact mold of the slot WR like Welker and Edelman.

Edelman (Since really starting 4 yrs ago) averages 5 TD per yr and 11 YPC.
Welker over 9 years avg 11 YPC and 5 - 5.5 TD per yr.

EDIT: Landry in 3 yrs, 10.6 avg and 4 TD per year.

He would be great in NE. but they pay guys like that $5-6M per year, while their production demands much more money on the open market.

Just like at GB and Randall Cobb. They paid him WR1 money, and he's hogging up a lot of cap that he isn't worth. Miami likely sees that outcome being inevitable, and they are trying to get what they can while his value is high.
