I think it is bs. I heard them say on espn that they were going to sit him tomorrow but that he would be back for the opener. They also reported the "downplaying"... I'm thinking, "no biggie"

So, instead of using their "idiot kicker" on 4th Down, they'd use their idiot quarterback.

According to a summary report from the Indy Star:

The Indianapolis Star reports Colts PK Adam Vinatieri has a broken bone in his left (non-kicking) foot. Whether that will keep him out of the team's regular-season opener Sept. 10 at the New York Giants is unclear. "That's what he told us about a week and a half ago," Vinatieri's mother, Judy, said of the injury. "They sent him to a specialist. They found a small broken bone in his foot." The Colts continue to characterize the Aug. 14 practice injury as a damaged ligament in the ankle, not a fracture, and say he's "day-to-day." They have expressed optimism that he'll be able to play against the Giants. Vinatieri never discussed his return to action with his family. "Probably day-to-day or maybe week-to-week," said Judy Vinatieri. "He never said a word to us about that."

BTW....how funny was the "idiot kicker's" first home game as a Cowboy (after thrilling Parcells by declaring himself out of the other games) where he pushed a 33-yard FG right in overtime?

Update: Oh MY. Vanderjagt then blows the 32-yarder with a few seconds left in overtime. Game ends in a tie. ROTFLOL.

    Kickers...

This puts me in a pickle. Am I happy that the Colts kicker is possibly hurt? Or am I sad for a guy that I always liked when he wasn't playing against us?

I got it, I hope it screws the Colts. Maybe this is the beginning of an injury bug for Indy.

    Who Knows??????????

Beginning? They lost Mongro for the season and I know they have more then that. They are finally starting to feel the pain from injury.

Vinatieri's snow bomb on the Raiders after the tuck rule almost made me cry with joy. I hope his injury make this a bad year for him, Dungu's head is way to up his arse to realize he will get over the injury and they release him to someone in the Raiders division. That would be sweat.
