New car dealerships are similar. Do not make much off sales, service is the cash cow. The sales part gets customers for the service department.

 

I had a salmon burger... can't remember what relish toppings I had.

Hard part is with so many burger options, certain relishes work best or worse. Had to ask suggestions.

 

worst thing about car dealers now, they dont just want to sell you a car, they want to swindle you into financing so you have to pay for a car and a half by the time youre done

Always make your money on the "accessories".

Sold TVs... store pushed us to sell the cords and such.

 

There was a wing place here that opened with about 100 different flavors all with kitschy names like "Saigon hooker", etc. But no description of what they tasted like. Though they were sorted by hotness.

They did not last lol

 

Oh yeah, cords and extended warranties lol.

Xbox and PlayStation make a fortune off accessories. Make a controller in China for $5 and it sells for $70 lol.

 

The is the only way the business manager makes money, on the financing.

 

We're financing through the dealer, but... not at our cost.

We got them into such a low cost for the car, they HAD to recoup that money. They lowered their rate below what we got in order to get it. They will earn money off what little interest we'll pay.

They were determined to get it. We won that one, frankly.
