Deion Branch recommended the Patriots to him. He took his advice.

The Patriots are looking extremely desperate this offseason. Looks like the FO's losing faith in Bellicheck already.

Just imagine what went through Vince Young's mind upon hearing his comment. Not trying to shift the topic but I just want to say... barring injury we have a sweet qb situation... if he wants to go get in that everyone's a #2 rec. system up there and get spoon-fed by this guy

then let let him. It's gay that a former Vol goes like that...

well... when whoever's in New England is through with you...
and Boston... finds better things to do...

it's not too late... wait a minute... yeah it is.

    Banshee... frag that traitor.

If I had a choice, NEngland is the better pick. The only reason to choose TN is if you want money. Or if you want to make a mark somewhere that has no history. So I respect it. It's the right decision all the way around.

It's hard to disagree with Stallworth's decision.....heck, the guy has a very good chance of getting a Super Bowl ring in his first year with the team.

If I was going to second-guess anyone FA's decision, it would probably be Nate Clements. He went to SF for the big money, but I honestly believe that after you consider all the taxes and the cost of living in that area, he would have been better off in Tennessee.

Many receivers have incentives written into their contracts, mainly number of catches, yards, etc. He knew he was not going to put up big numbers here. The Titans will probably lead the league this year in TE catches.

I'm obviously a little biased here, but I think Nashville would be the better place to live in, we know the tax situation is better here too. I think Donte' could have been a great fit here too.
Having said all that, I can't fault a guy for wanting to play with Tom Brady. And Stallworth was no sure fire solution for us either. I'd rather have Reggie Wayne for sure.
