I played on my roommate's PS3. Found it brain-numbingly easy. I'll have to play on Hard.
Don't know what this is supposed to mean. Mass Effect 2 is a well-renowned game from both the critics and the fans. So comparing God of War 3 to be on the level of Mass Effect 2 would be a good thing? PS3 fan boy much?
^ If anything he is an XBOX fanboy. He just didn't like Mass Effect 2.
I have both systems so a fan boy I am not. Obviously the majority of people who played Mass Effect 2 enjoyed the experience and the reviews for the game were all positive. I was merely making a point that most likely game of the year will come down to those two games for 2010.
I wasn't refering to you in my comment. And I don't disagree with your comment about GOTY.
You can find my rant on Mass Effect 2 here somewhere.
I would have rather spent 60 dollars on a nice chess set than that boring game. At least it'd look nice sitting in the living room rather than the appropriately terrible cover art for ME2.
And I'm no fanboy. Just fair. That's just another overhyped exclusive piece of dung right on par with Halo 3. Everyone had to pretend to love it because it was supposed to be a huge xbox hit.
The first 30 minutes are more epic than 98% of most games' finales.
The game gets harder (as I realised) towards the end.
Started to play on hard. Seems to be a good level.
But awesome is right. 10 minutes of playing I found myself expecting the end was near just from how intense the game was. Real fun.
L3 + R3 and rip out Poseidon's eyes ........... nice.
I now have a second copy of God of War 3.
I won a competition on AU IGN to go to an event with some of the developers. I couldn't go because they informed me the day before of the event and it was in Sydney and I am in Melbourne. So I managed to get a friend to go and he got the showbag you get and he will send me all the stuff they gave out which included a copy God of War 3.
