I do think the SEC is maybe a tad overhyped. We are the best conference in the nation, but the way it works (now) is:

Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Kentucky, Tennessee, Auburn, and Vanderbilt could easily beat the worst teams in any other conference and go toe-to-toe with any mid-level team in another conference.

South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida could easily beat the mid-level teams in any other conference and could probably hang with the upper level teams (they may not win, but it would be close).

Arkansas would demolish the lower/mid-level teams in any other conference and would likely beat the best teams in other conferences.

LSU would destroy the best teams in the other conferences.

Alabama would beat LSU 9 out of 10 times.

I am still trying to find a college team to root for. Never understood conference pride. I mean, anyone else in the AFC South can get bent.

I am merely defending the SEC.

I don't really have a college team. I've always wanted Vandy to do well (and still do)... now that I'm at UT, I'll probably be a Vols fan by default. I'm planning on going to the Florida, Bama, and Missouri games.

I'll still pull for Vandy when they play UT.

How did your Vandy do against my South Carolina in their worse performance?

Are you kidding me right now? Lol.

Was I actually supposed to expect Vandy to win that game? They did about what I expected - even a little better, actually. I expected something along the lines of a 31-20 loss, but Vandy isn't some pushover anymore. They'll come to play and you better not sleep on them.

SC may not have played well, but to call it their worst performance is a slap in the face to Vandy. Vandy also did not play as well as they could have... Rodgers' pass on the first drive down near the goal line was one of the dumbest throws I've ever seen. That ended up being a 10 point swing right there.

Who knows... if it weren't for that blown PI call, Vandy may have very well won.

Now your love for Jeffery makes a lot more sense... what did you think of Ingram?

Speaking of Jeffery, I did my money league draft for FF today... some guy reached and took him in the 8th or 9th round. Was that you?

Apparently someone thinks highly of Alshon like I did. I don't play FF, so it wasn't me.

As for Melvin Ingram, if he was taller, I would have been all over him too.

Now that he is a Charger, I wish the worse for him haha.

I think highly of Jeffery as well... just not THAT high on him. If he's there in the 13th and I need another WR for depth, I'll get him.
