i think Carr is the best QB in this draft, quick release and also a cannon plus his brother played in the NFL so he knows what's up and wont be too flustered with anything

Id say seeing his child nearly die did a lot more for him than anything David Carr ever helped with.

I'm thinking that trading back with Dallas... pickup a 3rd.

    #16 - Derek Carr
    2nd - Carlos Hyde
    3rd - Stanley Jean-Baptiste

I'd be happy with that being our first 2 days

Carr is an adult with the ideal character makeup you look for in a 1st rd QB.

Average size and intelligence and what i would consider minor flaws in mechanics keep him from being a 1st pick type prospect. For a team picking 11th with a question mark at that position he is a obvious choice and i do consider him the best prospect in this draft along with Manziel.

Agreed. Having a brother who was in the nfl for more than the previous decade can only help.

David Carr was not a horrible bust like a Ryan Leaf or Akili Smith. A 12 year career with a 75 passing rating is nothing to be ashamed of he just wasn't a franchise QB.
