    Texans will sign Branch and he will end up with 600 yards and 5 TDs... better than what Hawkins and Williams will do.



    Without Britt, we have 4 WRs.

    There will be plenty of veteran wide receivers to sign if and when that happens. No need to do it proactively. There are always decent veteran wide receivers available in free agency.

    I used to like Williams, never was a Hawk fan.

    They BOTH blow. They get zero seperation on scrub defenders in the preseason. Jake looked like Big Ben in the pocket holding the ball waiting for them to get seperation. It never happened.

    Go get Branch or Plaxico. Koppen would be fine too.

    In other news: Jake is still in the pocket waiting....waiting...waiting...

    Brady must be pissed that his Boy Branch was let go. I'd jump all over him, he knows how to get open and understands Defenses. I'd much rather have him than Lavelle "where'm I going" Hawkins.

    The only reason the Pats let Branch go is because they have four other guys they'll be throwing the ball to all the time...

    Wes Welker, Rob Gronkowski, Brandon Lloyd, Aaron Hernandez.

    Branch's release is not necessarily an indication on his playing abilities. There was just no use for them keeping him.
